Stramaccioni happy with 'growing' Inter

Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni was extremely optimistic after his side came from behind to beat Sampdoria 3-2 on Wednesday.

Inter are now on an eight-game winning streak in all competitions after the victory over newly-promoted Sampdoria and leapfrogged Napoli into second place ahead of their match against league leaders Juventus in the coming weekend.
The Nerazzurri went down to an early Sampdoria goal from Gianni Munari but managed to claw back and ease their way to a 3-2 win.
Stramaccioni praised his side for their determination in chasing the game until the end of the game.
"The best quality that emerged tonight is that we are growing," Stramaccioni told reporters after the game.
"This evening I saw hunger and we never relaxed. We need to continue to work this hard in every game."
"Our weapon is the whole group and today was a victory for the collective."

Wenger: Walcott will be a striker

Arsene Wenger hopes Theo Walcott fulfils his potential as a striker at Arsenal.
Contract talks between player and club have stalled with the Gunners unwilling to meet Walcott's wage expectations, while his demand to play in a central role is also a sticking point.
The 23-year-old underlined his goalscoring threat by firing a hat-trick in last night's thrilling 7-5 Capital One Cup victory over Reading.
Arsenal will sell Walcott in January if they fail to reach a compromise, but Wenger hopes he will remain at Emirates Stadium.
"Theo was superb last night [Tuesday]. I always said that he will be a striker, so we are on the same wavelength there," he said.
"First of all he is a good finisher now. Secondly, he knows where to be in the box on the rebound.
"That's a quality of a striker you can't give, you feel it or you don't.
"He has the qualities to play as a striker and I hope he will be a striker at Arsenal. I always said I want to keep him.
"During the contract talks you have to give him credit for the way he's committed to the team and the way he behaves."
